All recipes have been developed by Weight Watchers and approved by our specialist chefs. SmartPoints values of all meals are carefully calculated by our nutritionists, to ensure that our service fits seamlessly into your Weight Watchers programme. The proven Weight Watchers SmartPoints plan guides people towards more nutritious, healthier choices, with all foods allocated a SmartPoints value based on calories, saturated fat, sugar and protein.

How does WW Smart Kitchen differ from other subscription-based food box services on the market?

Weight Watchers is the first weight-management brand to launch a subscription-based healthy, low cal food box service. With over five decades of experience helping people to reach their weight loss goals, Weight Watchers has created WW Smart Kitchen to help make healthy eating easier. Each box is packed full of fresh ingredients, along with Weight Watchers recipe cards with the SmartPoints values included. Recipes have been developed by Weight Watchers and balanced by specialist chefs, with all foods allocated a SmartPoints value based on calories, saturated fat, sugar and protein, ensuring that each meal fits perfectly into the Weight Watchers programme.

 

What are SmartPoints?

SmartPoints are a way of managing your weekly food intake if you are following the Weight Watchers SmartPoints plan is a simple and unique counting system based on the latest nutritional science. It nudges people towards nutritious, healthier foods so that they eat better, feel better, have more energy and lose weight. Every food and drink is allocated a SmartPoints value based on the number of calories and amount of protein, saturated fat and sugar it contains:

  • Calories establish the baseline of how many SmartPoints the food or drink is worth
  • Saturated fat and sugar increase the SmartPoints value
  • Protein lowers the SmartPoints value

When joining Weight Watchers, each member is given a personal SmartPoints budget to spend. The allowance is made up of a daily and weekly allowance, based on age, gender, height and weight. If members stick to their budget they could lose up to 2lb a week. Most fruits and vegetables have a SmartPoints value of zero, so they can be added to meals and snacks throughout the day.

 

How does WW Smart Kitchen fit into the Weight Watchers plan?

All WW Smart Kitchen recipes are developed by Weight Watchers and approved by specialist chefs to fit within the programme. All members need to do is choose which WW Smart Kitchen meal they’re planning to cook that day, then take the SmartPoints value off their daily allowance, using what’s left for remaining meals and snacks.

 

Can I lose weight just from buying WW Smart Kitchen boxes?

In order to achieve the best results, you are encouraged to enjoy your daily WW Smart Kitchen meal as part of a healthy and balanced diet.

I am not a Weight Watchers member, can I still buy the box?

Yes of course, in fact we encourage it! The WW Smart Kitchen boxes are designed to appeal to anyone who loves fresh, healthy food. WW Smart Kitchen boxes are available in a variety of sizes and options, from a two-person box, to a four-person box, with the option of either three days or five days’ worth of recipes and produce.

Can I choose my meals?

Once you have signed up to receive your WW Smart Kitchen subscription, you will be able to manage your recipes from your account page.

If you have ordered a box containing 3 recipes you will have 4 to choose from. 

If you have ordered a box containing 5 recipes you will have 7 to choose from.

Every Thursday we will send you an e-mail to remind you which delicious meals are on their way to you. All recipe swaps must be done before 2pm on Thursday, the week before your delivery. 

 

Can I see my meals and what's coming up?

Yes. We post our weekly menus on to the site 3 weeks in advance to give you time to amend any of your upcoming recipe selections.

What if I am vegetarian?

Many vegetarians choose to purchase our 'meat free' option. All cheeses that are provided in these recipes are suitable for vegetarians. If you are usure about any of the ingredients in our boxes please contact a member of our team before ordering.

Do you offer boxes for people with special dietary requirements?

While WW Smart Kitchen does not currently offer boxes for people with special dietary requirements, the brand is looking to expand the product range in the future. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve our offering we would love to hear from you!

 

I follow a gluten-free / dairy free / vegetarian diet, are the boxes suitable for me?

New recipes are featured each week, so please check the suitability of each recipe for your dietary preferences before ordering. All dietry requirements can be found at the bottom of each recipe, on the recipe page.

REMEMBER YOU ARE cooking ALL YOUR MEALS FROM SCRATCH THEREFORE YOU CAN ALWAYS SWITCH OUT INGREDIENTS THAT DON'T SUIT YOUR DIET AT HOME 

 

What ingredients am I expected to have to enable me to fully create the dishes?

The store cupboard essentials are: Calorie controlled cooking spray; Salt; Pepper; Olive Oil; Low Fat Spread; Sugar; Skimmed Milk; Eggs; Flour (if less that 50g); Sunflower Oil; Vegetable Oil; Frozen peas. These will be identified on your recipe card with a 'SC' icon.

 

Do you offer boxes for 1 person?

Although we do not currently offer a 1 person box we do have lots of customers that purchase our 2 person boxes for themselves then split meals out once cooked and either enjoy for lunch the next day or freeze them. Why not give it a try?

 

Do you offer breakfast, lunch or dessert options?

We advertise our offering as a completele solution for dinner time, although many customers choose to order our larger box and have the extra for their lunch, or freeze meals for a later date. We will absolutely be looking in to introducing dessert options soon. Alternatively, sign up to Weight Watchers for hundreds of tasty recipes and meal inspiration. 

  

Do you provide nutritional information?

Each recipe card comes with calories SmartPoints per serving allocated, so that you can easily manage your daily intake. We do not identify the macros of each meal. Some recipe cards also have helpful tips on how to make it a Weight Watchers ‘No Count’ recipe if you follow that WW plan.

 

What is Weight Watchers No Count?

With the Weight Watchers No Count approach, you are encouraged to focus your eating on a list of healthy foods that have been identified by Weight Watchers. As long as you stick to these foods you don't have to weigh, measure or count them. These foods come from every food group and the basics are likely found in your cupboards and fridge already. Members also get 2 tsp of healthy oil a day - olive, sunflower, safflower, rapeseed or flaxseed – and do not need to count the SmartPoints for these. With No Count, members have a weekly SmartPoints allowance that they can spend on foods that aren't on the No Count list – for example, a glass of wine or a bag of crisps.

 

How long will my groceries stay fresh for?

The ingredients in our boxes are designed to stay fresh for up to 5 days however, we do recommend you check the use by dates on items such as bread and dairy to get the best results out of your recipes.

The WW Smart Kitchen team has scoured the fields to source the freshest ingredients from local suppliers and producers. Using an effective buy-to-order model to ensure optimum freshness, the insulated temperature-controlled boxes are sent out for delivery to our customer’s, the day the ingredients arrive from the producer, rather than languishing on supermarket shelves or in storage depots. Customers are encouraged to refrigerate their box as soon as is possible to honour shelf life.

 

 

 

Where are the ingredients sourced?

Each WW Smart Kitchen box includes fresh food and locally sourced produce from some of the UK’s top butchers and farmers.

Suppliers include:

  • meat: Our local British butchers deliver top quality, hand trimmed artisan meats to the table. Sourcing from Lancashire village farms, they are able to produce the finest quality chicken, beef, lamb and pork the market has to offer

 

  • vegetables: Our local fresh produce suppliers pick, prepare and pack their products rapidly, allowing as much of their original nutritional value and delicious freshness to be savoured for customers to enjoy. Utilising every ounce of knowledge, experience, and expertise, they ensure that great care is taken when selecting our produce. Only the finest seasonal produce is picked to guarantee the best possible quality.

 

  • seafood: Nestled in a prime spot on the docks of Fleetwood, our fish supplier stands with over 200 years of invaluable knowledge and experience in the fish and seafood industry. Hooking seasonal fish morning, noon and night, they have the highest caliber of specialists working around the clock to source excellence that can be brought straight to customers doors.

 

Are the boxes organic?

Suppliers source organic produce, where possible. However, not all produce is certified organic.

When will I be charged for my WW Smart Kitchen box?

As soon as you sign up for a subscription the WW Smart Kitchen will take a payment for the first box.

For future boxes, you are charged accordingly at 14:00pm, on the Thursday the week prior to your next delivery.

For example: if you have a delivery arriving on Friday 27th October 2017, the payment will leave your bank - Thursday 19th of October. Therefore any amendments to this delivery, including the cancellation of your subscription with us, must be done before 2pm Thursday 19th October.

You are able to hold your subscription at any point after your first box is delivered, allowing you to pick and choose when you’d like to receive your weekly box.

 

How do I change my account details?

If you have an active account you will be able to update your card details at any time. First log into your account, then click on "Update Payment" on the left-hand side of your screen. If your account is inactive you will need to re-subscribe, and enter new card details.

Are my payment details secure?

Absolutely, we use one of the UK's leading online payment solutions, Stripe, to process all payments. Keeping your information safe and secure is of the upmost importance to the WW Smart Kitchen team.

 

Why isn't my promotion code working?

Firstly, please check that the code has been entered correctly and try refreshing the web page. If the issue continues, please contact the WW Smart Kitchen online chat team where one of our friendly team will be happy to assist.

*Remember our promotional codes are only permitted to one use per customer so if you have alredy attached this code to your account previously it won't work.

What is a "flexible subscription"?

When you sign up to WW Smart Kitchen you select a day between Tuesday - Saturday that you would like your meals delivered, our subscription then generates you an order weekly, based on the box type you first selected (if no additional amends havebeen made). We know that life isn't always so pridictable, you may need to travel for work, visit a relitive at short notice or even get treated to a last minute break away (lucky you!) so we run a flexible subscription model. This enables you to pause / amend / unsubscribe from your weekly boxes at any point within the amendment period - no hidden meanings, no small print and no minimum term. 

PLEASE REMEMBER OUR WEEKS RUN THURSDAY TO THURSDAY this enables us to place our orders with suppliers before the weekend which helps us ensure we are delivering the freshest produce to you!

THE amendment  PERIOD

Orders are processed at 2pm every Thursday for the following week. You have up until this time to amend your delivery, this includes recipe swaps, pausing your delivery and cancelling your subscription. Any amends made after 2pm on Thursday will NOT be taken into account for the next week's box.

Once you have placed your first order, your box is fully processed at 2pm on Thursday, the week prior to you next delivery being dispatched. After this you will then have access to functions in your account which will allow you to apply any updates to to your future boxes.

All subscription amends/pauses/cancellations must be completed within this amendment period. 

 

Is there a minimum subscription length?

No, you can cancel your subscription at any time as long as it is within the amendment period as stated above. This ensures that you will not be charged for any further deliveries.

 

How do I pause / cancel my subscription?

Firstly log in to your account, and click on "My Subscription". To pause your subscription click on "reschedule delivery" and select the date that you wish to recieve your next box. To cancel simply click on "Cancel Subscription" which is located on the bottom right of the screen. 

 *To re-subscribe simply select your box type and checkout just like your first order.

 

Can l change my box type?                                       

Of course, as long as you make all changes to your subscription within your amendment period.

To change your box type log in to your account, and go to "Your Subscription" on the left hand-side of your screen. Here you can edit your box type.

 

Where do you deliver?

We use DPD  to deliver your boxes, which means we are able to offer our service to a large number of locations across the UK.

When do you deliver?

We deliver Tuesday - Saturday from 7:00am to 10:00pm.

 

Can I choose my delivery time? 

Unfortunately, we can't deliver at a specific time of the day. You pick the day, DPD allocate the time.

You will receive both an e-mail and a text on the day your box is due, which will specify an hour time slot in which your delievery will arrive. 

 

What if I am not at home to accept the delivery?

Don't worry we have you covered. At checkout, you are encouraged to leave precise instruction on where to leave the box if you are not in. We reccomend that this place is safe, dry and easy to find.

 

Will the contents of my box remain fresh if I'm not in to accept the delivery?

Yes, all our boxes are insulated using unique cooling gel packs, which enables your box ito be kept chilled for up to 48 hours. We pack all of your meat and dairy products into seperate cool bags along with our cooling gel pack for extra protection. In the summer our packing team will ensure that your box has extra gel packs to account for the change in temperature. 

 

Can I recycle the WW Smart Kitchen packaging?

Yes, please do. WW Smart Kitchen is pro green and on a mission to reduce its carbon footprint and help the environment. Please recycle all packaging in the appropriate bins.
